“Initially 2.5hrs doesn’t seem enough time to learn something so intricate. But Chanel got straight into it as soon as the class started and we were able to cover all the techniques in no time. It was so fun and relaxing, and Chanel’s gentle guidance really allowed us to create our own personal pieces. We were able to take away some extra seeds and beads in order to complete our pieces at home. I cannot wait! Such a good mindful class and really taught me amazing techniques I can continue to use moving forward. Will be buying some Nelly Makes Kits too!”

“Well worth a try, no rushing, not demanding at all, can go at your own pace and it was an open space to have a laugh. Nothing but good things to say. May take me a while to finish and send over the final product but I'll do it!”

“We were warmly welcome by Nelly to her textile studio, which was like an Aladdin’s cave for crafters. The studio was beautifully set up. Nelly explained each process with patience, knowledge & humour. Nelly has a fabulous, extensive bead collection which meant we could all work with a vast variety of colours & styles without waiting for someone else to finish. We were each supplied with all the equipment we needed to create our bead embellishment pieces, no sharing or waiting for kit to become available. Nelly also provided pastries & cold drinks throughout the workshop. The workshop flowed easily and to be honest we would have happily stayed for another couple of hours, it was so relaxing and peaceful. Each of us has continued with our creative pieces at home. I would absolutely recommend Nelly & this class.”

“Really great class, we learnt lots of different styles of bead embroideries, and everything was provided for us, with lots of colours and styles of beads to chose from. Snacks and drinks were provided, and it was a really relaxing environment to get immersed in a new skill!”
