Discover the secrets behind creating luscious loaves from one of our amazing local chefs, who’ll show you how to mix, knead and stretch your way to fantastic flavours and textures. You could even bring your partner along for a unique date experience with one of the best couples' baking classes in London.

Your London bread making class will begin with a demonstration from your talented teacher, who’ll walk you through the techniques that you can expect to master in this cooking class in London. Get ready to bring your own baked goods to life!

You’ll learn about the all-important combination of flour and yeast along with the different types of each, before moving on to discover the perfect kneading technique to create the best consistency possible.

Then it’s your turn to get your hands floury, as you begin making your delicious dough from scratch with the guidance of your friendly expert. You’ll be able to ask any questions and taste test your creation as the class progresses, and even bake without a bread recipe!

- Diana’s bread.
- Focaccia.
- Pitta bread.
- Soda bread.
- Sweet dough.

You’ll finish your London baking class with the chance to relax with your group as you admire the results of your hard work and head home with some amazing new skills to help in all your future baking endeavours.

Please note:
- We can cater for vegans on request.
- This class is suitable for 10-year-olds and above however under 10s are welcome when accompanied by a paying adult/guardian, everyone in the kitchen needs to have their own individual paid spot regardless of age.

Great venue, clear and precise teaching by CeeCee (apologies if spelling is incorrect) delivered in a nice conversational and engaging style answering all questions raised by the group of 6 participants. An excellent course with super results - the lunchtime homemade pitta and Tahini/chickpea dip was a brilliant touch. Much enjoyed the various breads - wholemeal, soda, focaccia, sweet. I would thoroughly recommend the course and will investigate future offerings.

The class and teacher were great. It was a really enjoyable experience. To make it even better it would be nice to have a bit more information before the class about the type of bread you’re going to make. Also it would be nice if they could offer tea as well as coffee, as not everyone can drink coffee.

Soda bread was a delight and only half of it made it home ;) My (our !) Focaccia was lovely and spongy and a great addition to my supper and I am now far more confident with baking bread and different varieties Would recommend course and venue to friends

Helen was very knowledgeable and informative . Her teaching style was warm with no frills or techno jargon easy to understand. We made pittas , focaccia, sweet bread , soda bread and Dianna bread all of which was very edable unlike my previous early attempts at making bread. I now feel confident that I can make bread for myself anytime . A course well worth doing and thoroughly enjoyable.

Great Masterclass at the Avenue Cookery School. My boyfriend and I attended the master class with some bread baking experience. However, the Chef Enzo’s skills and the friendly environment made it special and very easy to follow. Highly recommended! (The bread you will bake is truly delicious!)
