Imagine your handmade lantern glowing gently in your garden, casting dreamy, flickering patterns – a unique centrepiece you've made yourself. In this hands-on session, you'll be guided through foundational clay-building techniques such as pinch pot and slab construction. You will craft a one-of-a-kind lantern, personalising it with cut-outs, carvings, or textured surfaces, and if you’d like – add quirky birds, floral designs, or up to three decorative beads.
Suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to clay enthusiasts, this workshop is designed to be fun, friendly, and creatively fulfilling. Your finished lantern will be bisque fired and finished with a warm oxide wash, giving it a beautiful aged, rustic look – perfect for any outdoor space. Pieces will be ready for collection approximately three weeks later.
