This was such an amazing class. I'd always wanted to try pottery on a wheel, and this session was bought for me as a birthday present. When my group and I arrived, Lora was incredibly welcoming and friendly, immediately making us all feel relaxed. She explained how everything worked and demonstrated the techniques we'd be using throughout the session. After a bit of a shaky start, where I thought I'd be lucky to make even one pot by the end of the class, Lora quickly helped me understand where I was going wrong. With her guidance and encouragement, I improved as the session went on. I found the whole experience incredibly therapeutic and relaxing. It allowed me to completely focus on what I was doing in the moment, which I found surprisingly mindful. Even if pottery isn't something you'd normally consider, but you're interested in mindfulness or simply trying something different, I'd highly recommend giving this class a go.

Brilliant couple of hours! Booked as a present for my sister’s birthday - she was a beginner and I had some previous experience - and Julie’s teaching worked really well for both of us. Lovely people and studio. If I lived nearer I’d be there all the time! Thanks so much for a lovely time ☺️

Excellent session… teachers were really clear & helpful . Glad of the advice to wear warm clothes you don’t mind getting dirty… it’s not a clean craft. Harder than you imagine it being but managed to throw 3 reasonable bowls, my granddaughter also enjoyed the session making 2 “abstract “ (her words) bowls. Looking forward to seeing how they turn out when fired & glazed

10/10 Experience!! Booked this as a birthday treat to try something new and it was such a fantastic experience. After being offered a cup of tea, Lora was extremely helpful and patient with teaching the techniques. The class had 4 of us which was the perfect size and we had our own equipment and Lora showed us how to operate the wheel. Then we had the best part of 90 mins to throw our own pots! There was enough time for us to have 3 attempts (one of which failed but part of the learning process!) and we managed to successfully create 2 pots each that Lora will be firing and glazing a colour of our choice for us. Such a fantastic Saturday afternoon - it’s definitely kickstarted a pottery bug and scratched the creative itch!

Great session - heaps of patience and humour! Went with a 9 and 11 yr old who loved it and made better pots than me. Thoroughly recommend!
