Join this fun and informative flower arranging workshop in Cambridge and learn how to make a lovely table arrangement using seasonal, locally grown flowers.

This relaxed and creative activity is the perfect opportunity to learn the tricks of the flower trade. Under expert guidance, you'll discover tips on style, colour, and design, and learn how to best care for your flowers. The workshop will begin with a demonstration of various sustainable flower arranging techniques, including some that go back to Victorian times.

Following the demonstration, you will create your own arrangement in a lovely flower pot, using chicken wire as a sustainable base. With a wide selection of beautiful flowers to choose from, you'll have everything you need to make something special. All materials are provided, including aprons to protect your clothing and a bag to take your arrangement home in.

You'll leave this session with an amazing new creative skill and a gorgeous, long-lasting floral arrangement to brighten up your home.

“I had a thorouhgly enjoyable afternoon yesterday creating my own seasonal arrangement. Adrienne was a fantastic teacher and the passion she has for what she does shone through. Her demonstration on how to build up an arrangment was instructive and confidence building, so when it came to us creating our own it was not scary. Her guidance as we worked on our own arrangements was spot on. The selection of flowers was super as well, with many I wasn't familiar with, which made it exciting to work with. I would highly recommend this workshop.”

“This was a present from my daughters, so I didn't know what to expect. Our teacher was sooo enthusiastic and helpful and passionate about flowers the 2 hr class just flew by. She explained how and why the different techniques worked with some flowers and not all. When starting and during doing our own displays she gave suggestions of improving it, but not forcing you to do it. ( she was usually right) I would highly recommend it, even if you not into flowers, I'm sure with her enthusiasm she would convert you. I'm certainly looking at flowers in a different way and will use my display pot again. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. Rachel.”

“Fantastic enthusiastic knowledgeable and friendly host. Always felt welcome, always felt like you could create whatever you liked without judgement and restrictions and so willing to help. It was a great experience and so much fun. Well worth booking. I’d go again!!”

“Really lovely afternoon and a fantastic class from Adrienne. Very much exceeded expectations! It was a perfect class size (10 of us) and we got a very nice pot and bag to take home with us alongside our flowers! Would recommend this to anyone.”

“What an incredible class- perfect for a calmer hen party! Situated a short walk from Cambridge city centre, the studio is tucked in Adrienne’s back garden. It is a beautiful, rustic space which is perfect for photos. Adrienne is a passionate, talented, and welcoming teacher who just radiated joy for her work- it was infectious! She made sure we all left with an arrangement we loved, and even accommodated me bringing alcohol round the previous day to make sure it was all beautifully chilled for the activity. I could not recommend her more highly. If you are looking for something intimate, full of fun, whilst also learning about local and ethically sourced flowers- this is it.”
