This is a fun activity in Bath
Enjoy a fabulous Friday afternoon crafting followed by drinks and a charcuterie platter. Embark upon the world of resin and learn how to embed real dried pressed flowers into jewellery and accessories.
Spend time at the newly converted Georgian creative space - The Artpad in central Bath on the prestigious Great Pulteney Street. Led by Emma from Nature's Inspiration, this is a wonderful activity for anyone looking to learn a new skill in a beautiful and inspiring setting.
Arrive at 2.30pm after lunch to commence your crafting session focusing on working with the premixed UV resin and a selection of hand-pressed dried botanicals. Working with premade silver/gold/rose gold plated bezels (on either a stainless steel or alloy base) you can create:
- A unique pendant
- A set of botanical hairgrips
- A floral ring
- A pair of cufflinks
- A pair of floral studs or dangly earrings
- A bookmark
You will leave this session with a stunning collection of your own botanical resin creations and the skills to continue this absorbing craft, having translated the beauty of nature into wearable art.
Boxes and bags provided for those who would prefer to take home/gift.
Around 4.30pm the crafting will finish for you to enjoy a delicious charcuterie platter lunch, provided by local caterers 'Wild Fig'. You can relax and socialise while enjoying fresh focaccia and a butter board alongside the platter. Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon to keep your creative energy flowing.
