What you'll experience
Join our expert instructors for a hands-on hour at the wheel. You'll learn the fundamentals of throwing and create your own ceramic piece, in a class capped at 8 people so everyone gets real attention.

Taking your piece home
Firing is optional. For £10 we'll professionally glaze and fire your work in our kiln, so you end up with a finished, food-safe ceramic piece to keep.

“My group and I had a great pottery class, with our instructor, Emily! The staff members were nice and friendly, and the studio is bright and spacious. I really enjoyed working on two different clay balls, and learning the different techniques. This class has confirmed that I would enjoy a longer session and/or a regular session.”

“We actually arrived late due to travel issues but the teacher was super understanding and still welcomed us in. She was able to show us how to work the pottery wheel and clay whilst still attending to those who were there already, that was much appreciated! It was a very good class and despite not being there from the beginning I was happy with what I was able to create and the skills I learnt in that time. Will definitely be back again!”

“Jack was engaging and very supportive towards all members of the class. We learnt how to throw clay onto the wheel, how to centre and shape the clay, and how to turn our clay into a vase, bowl, or mug. Overall, working with the clay was very fun!”

“It was a good class and very fun for beginners, but some steps seemed a bit rushed as was hard to get the shape right. The instructor kept advising to keep our shapes, but they were unfit for the firing process. I think maybe easier shapes and more time on each step would be helpful if the class if full of beginners”
