Learn how to create your very own 50cm x 50cm standard rug in this colourful and creative tufting workshop in Manchester. This four-hour session gives you plenty of room to play with both pattern and colour, whether you want to make a fun, quirky, or free-style design.
This is a perfect activity for beginners, as your friendly instructors will guide you through the entire process from start to finish. All materials are provided, so all you need to bring is your creativity!
In this workshop, you will learn how to:
- Use a cut-pile electric tufting gun
- Choose suitable colours for your design
- Start tufting and finish your piece with accuracy and confidence
Whether you're looking for some peaceful time to yourself, a unique date idea, or a fun catch-up with friends, this workshop is a wonderfully hands-on and memorable experience. You’ll leave feeling creatively energised, taking home not only a personalised rug you can be proud of but also some lovely memories and a fantastic new skill.
Important Notes:
- Check your booking date and time carefully before payment.
- To attend this class, you need to be at least 10 years old. If you’re under 18, please come with a guardian (2 people can work on one rug).
- Please email us your desired design at least 24 hours before class.
- After tufting, we’ll need approximately 10 days to complete trimming, shaving, and other finishing touches. This post-processing service is included in your class fee, so there’s no additional charge.
- Once you’ve finished tufting, you’re free to go — we’ll notify you by email when your piece is ready. You can choose to pick it up in person or have it posted to your address (postage fees may apply, we’ll send a receipt from the post office; there’s no charge for the service itself).
