This friendly and fun activity is designed to be accessible to all, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to build on previous experience. Led by a qualified tutor and artist, the workshop offers a supportive environment where you can learn the fundamentals of leaded stained glass art. You’ll explore everything from glass selection to cutting, shaping, and assembling pieces, with our skilled instructor guiding you at every step.
Let your creativity flourish as you choose from a variety of patterns, from traditional to contemporary, to craft a piece that reflects your unique style. You will learn the art of soldering and finishing, mastering the heritage techniques that will bring your glass creation to life. All materials are provided and included in the course cost.
You can choose from flexible options for this workshop. Join for a half-day session to create a small piece (roughly A5 size), or opt for the full-day experience to make a larger panel (roughly A4 size).
By the end of your session, you'll have gained valuable skills in this historic craft and created your own lovely leaded panel, suitable for display in a window or garden, leaving you with a fantastic sense of achievement.
