Create your own piece of natural wall art in our immersive moss-making class held in the heart of Coal Drops Yard. Hosted by Botanical Boys, this hands-on workshop invites you to design a beautiful framed preserved moss artwork using sustainably sourced bun moss and sheet moss.
You’ll learn about:
- The difference between preserved moss types, including bun and sheet moss
- How moss is sustainably harvested and preserved using eco-friendly methods
- Techniques for layering textures and mounting moss into wooden frames to create hills and valleys
- Sketching out your landscape
Our tutor will guide you through our moss-inspired Kings Cross studio and show you how versatile our preserved moss is used in design pieces. Then you’ll be seated in our calming workspace and step-by-step you’ll design a tactile, 3D mossscape to take home — perfect for bringing a calming, biophilic touch to any interior.
