In this workshop, you will get to personalise an item of your choice. You can pick from a wide selection, including:
- Water bottles
- Mouse mats
- Coasters
- Coffee tumblers
You'll discover the magic of sublimation printing – a fantastic technique where special dyes bond directly onto your item using heat. This process creates a vibrantly coloured, permanent design that won't peel, crack, or fade – just a beautiful, durable finish to enjoy for years to come. This is a calm and mindful activity, perfect for unwinding and trying something new with no experience necessary.
You'll learn how to bring your design to life using high-quality markers for a hand-drawn feel, or you can use one of the four provided iPads if digital art is more your style (these are limited, so it's first-come, first-served!). You're also welcome to bring your own iPad and drawing app. If you're feeling less illustrative, no problem! You can select from a range of colouring pages or simply add your name for a chic, custom finish. Once you're happy with your masterpiece, your teacher will photograph it and prepare it for printing.
Your teacher works with a wide range of venues in Edinburgh and can also travel, making this a wonderfully flexible option for your event.
