This is a fun activity in City Hall, London

Want to detox from reality for an evening?

Join comedian Mike Sheer in this playful two-hour writing experience (with drinks) in Southbank's The Understudy, inside the National Theatre.

This activity is the perfect opportunity to kick back with your tipple of choice and have belly laughs with friends old and new, over a delightful mix of innovative and juicy writing prompts.

This is NOT a formal class on how to write the next bestseller; it's a fun exploration of sideways thinking, celebration of imperfection, and chance to let loose on the page. Whether you choose to share what you've written or not is completely up to you!

Come along to make writing fun again. You'll leave this session feeling refreshed, with a reawakened imagination.

Ideal for couples, groups of friends, or solo travellers looking for an easy escape from normal.

It was a great experience! We gave this to a friend to celebrate her birthday and we all went! I don’t think we were sure what to expect, but it was such a fun night, creativity definitely kicked in and we learned loads about ourselves and each other by having fun and tapping a new side of our creativity while not taking it too seriously and just enjoy new activities! Mike was lovely and really helped steer the night and make it successfull, light hearted and fun!
