Join this classic Scottish cookery class in Leith for some relaxed fun celebrating the best of the nation's cuisine. This is the perfect activity to learn how to create some of Scotland's most iconic dishes in a friendly and social atmosphere.

During this hands-on workshop, your expert teacher will guide you step-by-step as you prepare a wonderful three-item menu. You will learn the skills and techniques needed to master these traditional recipes.

In this class, you will learn how to make:

- Shortbread – Discover the secret to creating perfectly buttery and crumbly biscuits.
- Cullen skink – Master the art of this classic, creamy and comforting smoked haddock soup.
- Haggis bon bons and whisky cream dipping sauce – Create these famous savoury bites and their delicious accompanying sauce.

You'll be working in pairs throughout the session, so don't worry if you come along by yourself – we'll partner you with a fellow food lover. This is a BYOB event, so you are welcome to bring drinks to enjoy while you cook. To finish, everyone will sit down together to enjoy the fantastic Scottish meal you have prepared.

This workshop is held at the Cyrenians Flavour and Haver Cook School, and we are proud that 10% of all proceeds go to supporting the Cyrenians.

You'll leave the class with a renewed sense of culinary accomplishment, ready to impress friends and family with your authentic Scottish cooking skills.

Fantastic cooking class with Ailsa! It was very enjoyable, I had a great time, delicious food and Ailsa was very friendly, gave good instructions and a bit of the history behind each dish. Highly recommend!
