At this pottery for beginners class, you will explore three popular hand-building techniques (slab building, pinching and coiling) as well as ever-popular wheel throwing!
Don't worry if you're new to pottery making, this fun all-rounder one-day course is a brilliant introduction to the captivating world of handmade pottery. Your friendly teacher will guide you through each technique with simple step-by-step instructions along with plenty of entertaining and informative demonstrations.
Throughout the day, with your talented teacher by your side, you will make either a coiled pot, bowl or planter, a slabbed vase or tealight holder, a small pinch pot sculpture, dish or gonk then, finally, you will have a go at throwing a pot on one of our fun potter’s wheels.
At the end of the day, you'll have four stunning clay creations that are yours to keep (however you will have to wait for these to be dried and fired). You'll also walk away feeling refreshed and relaxed from your unique day of crafty fun!
