This is a fun activity in Camberwell, London
Looking for creative days out in London? Make a cute piece of DIY home decor in this craft workshop.
In this felting experience, you'll use a variation of the 2D wet felting technique to create a felt planter. Your teacher will show you how to use a resist, how to embellish your vessel/planter, and the vital layering and felting techniques to make and shape your work.
Learn a new textile art in an encouraging and calming atmosphere. All of the necessary materials and equipment will be provided for you, including a vast array of wool tops colours to choose from.
By the end of the class, you will have made your own seam-free container that has many uses! It could be a planter for your cacti, a pot for rings or loose change, maybe a key holder, or it's simply decorative.
Once you've mastered the art of using a resist you can make slippers, bags, cat caves, hats, hot water bottle covers, lampshades, purses, phone covers, and more.
If you want things to do in London for a team-building activity, birthday party, or hens do, this class is ideal.
Please note this workshop needs a minimum of 3 participants to run.
Want a private workshop. For this one my home studio will accommodate 6 max. If your group is larger I’m happy to come to you.
