This is a fun activity in Fitzrovia, London
Slow down and reconnect through two of Japan’s most cherished mindfulness traditions -- Shodō (Japanese calligraphy) and Sadō (Japanese tea ceremony). In this mindful experience in London, you'll engage with new relaxation techniques and have the chance to reflect and connect with others.
No prior experience is required, only a willingness to be present. The session is designed to be intimate, allowing for a more personalised experience. This is perfect for anyone looking to try something new and delve into mindful practices.
What to expect:
- Mindfully test varieties of award-winning matcha.
- Whisk your matcha in a traditional way.
- Practise expressive, meditative brushwork.
- Reflect on your own rhythm and energy.
- Take home a keepsake Japanese calligraphy piece.
You’ll leave not only with a beautiful piece of your own calligraphy and a deeper appreciation for matcha, but also with a sense of calm. This is more than just a class -- it’s an opportunity to pause, reflect, and carry a little piece of Japanese mindfulness into your everyday life.
