Great way to spend an afternoon. Only 3 types of stitches are required to get started so it's not as intimidating as it may seem. Lots of examples are given, both of Ali's work and others, so we got a good overview of how these stitches can be used in different ways. I'm all thumbs and found it a bit fiddly but could see how with a bit of practice results would improve. The class proved to be a good starting point for anyone interested in embroidery.

This was a relaxing and enjoyable class. The afternoon went really quickly as we were introduced to the stitches we'd be using, some composition advice and then started working on our own pieces. The variety of designs that can be produced with just 3 stitches is amazing!

This felt a bit beyond my creative design skills but I learned a lot and I’m going to finish the piece at home . Ali is a great teacher , firm , detailed advice , kind and enabling . Very organised and well prepared , Encouraging for anyone needing to overcome blocks in themselves as I have about creating their own designs !

Incredibly amazing value for money. As a beginner I absolutely loved how every step was explained carefully. Plenty cups of tea and coffee were supplied with biscuits and snacks. Ali was an incredible teacher and the small group we had were just lovely. It was the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Perfect introduction to embroidery, I'm now hooked!
