Great class, I liked the combination of starting on a small prepared design then moving on to projects of our choice and seeing the variety of what people did.

If you're thinking about doing these sessions, do it! Amazing session and really really wonderful teacher! In only 4 hours I learned about the history and uses of Sashiko as well as creating my own decorative piece and a few practice goes. I went with my friend and we learn at different speeds but we were both encouraged by the teacher and the other students, and the atmosphere was so lovely. We felt like we were safe to make mistakes and ask for help. Really looking forward to finding another session to attend!

Loved the class, loved learning about history and social context of this useful technic turned art. I left the class buzzing with ideas. The class itself was lovely and peaceful, but also so much fun!

Really enjoyed this class. The teacher, Ali, was brilliant and shared history of the craft and traditional techniques. Materials were provided with lots of options! Ali also gave suggestions of different styles people could try and was very encouraging. Loved it!
