These are creative and engaging classes for students where I teach,
- clay preparation: wedging and measuring the clay
- four handmade techniques: pinching, coiling, slab & Kirunuki
- decorating: how to carve, attach clay forms and surface decoration and to shape the piece into the desired form
My courses in the studio are catered for 8 students, mainly to focus on the individual students and building their pottery skills. The duration of the class is 60 minutes and throughout the course the children will gain a solid foundation in the art of pottery, a new and profound confidence in their creative process and four handmade ceramic pieces that they will cherish and keep as a reminder of their journey.
