Claire is such a sweet and patient teacher. I got lost and Claire called me to guide me where to go. If your map takes you round the back by the river side, go to the other side of the building. :) I can’t recommend her enough. I’m now confident to get my machine back out and start sowing!!!

I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew a few things but honestly what I learned in one hour was enough for me to go home and put it into practice straight away! Claire (if I have that wrong I am truly sorry) was SO lovely. Amazing personality and such a warm and welcoming attitude. I will absolutely be going back when I need a bit more guidance when I have mastered the basics.

I really enjoyed this class, it was just a short session, so I will probably go back for more, but Claire's teaching has given me a lot of confidence in beginning with a sewing machine and really made me feel like working with them will be possible and not daunting. We went through the basics and I got to try sewing various stitches as well as beginning to hem a pair of trousers I had with me. Claire also gave me good advice on what machines to buy and no to buy. I'm excited to learn more with her.

I lost my confidence with sewing because I haven’t done it in ages. This class was fantastic. Clare was brilliant and really helped me with some interesting tips and tricks to start sewing again and repurpose my clothes. Her tip about zippers totally changed the way I will sew going forward. I am so pleased!
