In our Autumn Botanical Screen Printing Workshop, you'll dive into the art of screen printing, learning how to create beautiful prints inspired by seasonal foliage. Throughout the class, you'll discover how to design bold stencils featuring elements like leaves, seed pods, and flower heads, and transform them into striking prints.
Don't worry if you're new to screen printing—this workshop is designed for beginners, and our experienced instructor will guide you every step of the way.
During the class, you will:
- Learn how to cut your stencil from Mylar
- Have hands-on experience using a vacuum screen printing press
- Explore registration techniques for perfectly aligned colour layers
- Produce a stunning two-colour print
As you progress through the workshop, you'll witness your designs come to life on the paper. By the end of the session, you'll walk away with an edition of four prints on lovely, heavy art paper.
