Guided by South London-based forager and natural dyer Zoe Burt, you’ll experiment with pre-prepared ribbons and uncover the secrets of this enchanting natural dyeing technique.
Perfect for beginners and anyone curious about sustainable textile art, this relaxed class will give you the chance to explore colour, pattern, and texture created by nature itself!
**What to expect:**
- Step-by-step guidance from experienced artist and natural dyer Zoe Burt.
- Learn how to eco-print using flowers, leaves, and seeds on fabric.
- Set out designs for 2 unique napkins or wall hangings using pre mordanted fabric
- Gain insight into Zoe’s practice as an artist, forager, and educator in natural dyes.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a set of unique homewares designed and made by you.
This Class takes place in our custom lab space. If you would like to learn about the mordanting process, you can attend a 1 hour mordanting session on the Friday before your class 4-5. Please add the mordant session to your booking.

The Remakery is committed to making Eco Craft practices available to everyone. We offer a subsidised ticket for most of our classes, particularly aimed at unwaged, under 25 or financially disadvantaged members of our community.
Our ‘True Cost Ticket’ reflects the prep time involved in running a eco-craft course and the cost of keeping a space like the Remakery open.
The ‘Pay it forward’ ticket includes a donation towards the upkeep of our communal rooms and the continuation of our community programme.
Due to the high demand for our basket making classes, we do not offer any refunds or cancellations on these tickets.
