Natty was absolutely amazing- patient, kind, supportive and encouraging. She had a lot of knowledge to share and we made a tote bag, pencil case, pillow case and I missed one week so not sure what that was. But I learnt the basics of using a sewing machine and pattern cutting and can’t wait to get practicing on my own machine. I will say, there were a couple of people who took really well to the lessons which was great but kinda frustrating at times bc I felt left behind, like I didn’t learn as much (not Natty’s fault) and they had lots of slightly advance questions for her so you had to wait or try figuring it out yourself, which if you’re struggling or not as quick a learner or neurodivergent doesn’t feel the greatest. But I’d 100% do it again!

I had a wonderful time on the 6 week sewing course. Natty our teacher was great, so patient and very encouraging. She let calming and creative classes and was happy to encourage us to think out the box with the work we’re doing. Each project very week taught us a new skill which we can take forward into other projects like zips, hemming and ruffles. Having a smaller class was super helpful as everyone got the individual guidance we needed. Thank you so much!
