This is a fun activity in Oakley, Milton Keynes
Join us at our studio in Oakley near Bedford and learn to sew. Can't make it during the day or week? We offer evenings and Saturdays too.
Whether you’d like to make your own clothes, whip up a quick skirt, sew on a badge or repair a school uniform this is the place for you!
Join Geraldine for a practical, friendly sewing workshop packed with tips, techniques and expert advice. With her wealth of experience, Geraldine can guide you through the process of making from a commercial pattern or can show you how to make shop-bought garments fit you perfectly, with simple alterations that can make all the difference. Or if you have something lurking at the back of your wardrobe that you no longer wear, bring it along and discover how it could be transformed into something useful, stylish and completely new.
Your sewing machine will become a trusted friend as you learn more about how to use it, with Geraldine sharing plenty of helpful tips and tricks along the way.
Whether you're starting a new project, struggling with the fit of a favourite garment or ready to give an old item a new lease of life, this workshop is all about helping you sew with confidence and make things your way.
We have several sewing machines available for hire at £10 per day. Please contact us before booking to make sure we have one available if you need one.
Day classes run from 10.00-4.00 and evenings from 6.45-9.15.
