This is a fun activity in Shepton Mallet, Bath

Come and learn how to make your own small stained glass panel using traditional techniques in this engaging workshop.

You will be guided through the basic skills involved in stained glass, including how to cut glass safely to a pattern, how to prepare and cut the lead, and the method for soldering the lead joints together to complete your design.

This is a course designed specifically for beginners and is held in a learner-friendly environment, so no prior experience is necessary. There will be a number of patterns available for you to pick from on the day.

You'll leave the session with a wonderful sense of achievement and your very own traditionally made stained glass panel, ready to catch the light at home.

**Please note:** Please do not wear open-toed shoes to this course.

“This was a brilliant day and by the end we had all produced a beautiful stained glass panel. April was a fantastic teacher, explaining and demonstrating all the different processes - she was also very knowledgeable and had a lot of patience. The location was lovely and easy to locate with parking and a cafe next door to the workshop. All the tools and materials were supplied and the group size was kept to a maximum of 7 to accommodate everyone. The workshop was easy to book with the voucher and I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in doing this. I’m looking forward to repeating or participating in a different workshop with April.”

“What a fabulous day, really enjoyable and accessible for all abilities. April is a great teacher, calm and clear, and on hand to help. We made stained glass panels and everyone's looked amazing. Yummy toasties in the community cafe next door too.”
