This is a fun activity in Wolverton, Milton Keynes
Join this crochet workshop in Wolverton and bring the project you started in Part 1 to life. This session is designed specifically for those who have attended Crochet Bag Class Part 1 and have their thirteen five-row granny squares ready for assembly.
In this hands-on class, you'll focus on joining your squares and crafting the handles to complete your bag. Your teacher will guide you through the technical steps, ensuring you feel confident as you work.
During the workshop, you will learn how to:
- Join their crochet squares using one of a number of different techniques.
- Read a simple crochet pattern to complete the handles (from pattern provided in Part 1)
- Make a double crochet stitch
- Decrease stitches
- Crochet on both sides of a foundation chain
- Use a slip stitch as a decorative feature
Classes are kept small to ensure everyone gets the help they need, making it a relaxed and supportive environment for both right and left-handed stitchers. You'll also enjoy homemade cake and refreshments as you stitch.
If you don't manage to finish within the time, your teacher offers support after the class to help you get there. By the end of the session, you'll have transformed your pile of squares into a beautiful, functional bag to use with pride.
Please note:
- There is an excitable chocolate Labrador at the venue; please consider this if you have allergies or are not comfortable around dogs.
- Please let your teacher know of any dietary requirements before the class starts.
