Come and enjoy a fun and informative 2.5-hour beadwork jewellery-making workshop, where you will use an eclectic mix of beads, including lovely semi-precious stones. All metal findings used are sterling silver and hypoallergenic, ensuring a high-quality finish.
Your teacher, Lindsey Benson, has been making beaded jewellery for over 15 years. She will be there to demonstrate and help you with the common hurdles of stringing beads, including how to choose the right wire and findings for your design. Lindsey will guide you through the basic skills needed to create beautiful jewellery using beads and stringing techniques.
**During this session, you will:**
- Learn the step-by-step process of designing and making a bracelet and earrings.
- Discover how to finish your pieces to a professional standard using sterling silver findings.
- Understand how to choose the correct wire and findings for your jewellery.
- Get an overview of all the equipment needed for bead jewellery making.
- Learn how to make your own jewellery gift box.
You will be able to choose from a huge selection of beautiful beads, or you are welcome to bring your own beads along to repurpose.
You will leave the workshop with your handcrafted jewellery set, ready to proudly wear or give away as a thoughtful gift. This class will provide you with the fundamental skills and the confidence to create many more jewellery masterpieces in your own home.
