A fit block is a paper base from which all sorts of garments can be made from. We will show you how to measure your body, and how to then turn that it into a draft on paper.
Your teacher will be there to guide you at every step and is full of useful advice. If you've ever wanted to learn how to make your own clothes, this online class is a productive thing to do at home for your first step.
We will then make a cloth toile as a practice run for real garments. You will need a sewing machine to do sew up a few seams or you can hand sew, this will take a bit longer. Having a few sewing techniques under your belt already will make this much easier.
Once your fit clock is all done, you can turn it into all sorts of fun textile designs. Your teacher can give you some adjustment advice on how to manipulate the fit block into all sorts of styles.
