Come and join me for a fun in-person class on how to knit! I will guide you through each step at this in-person event at my home in Wolverton, Milton Keynes. Class sizes are limited to five so that we can all sit comfortably around a table together and I can ensure that everyone receives the attention they need.
This workshop is suitable for both right and lefthanded complete beginners and those who have started knitting but need a bit of help to improve their work. The workshop is suitable for accompanied children aged 10 and up. During the class, you'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow knitting enthusiasts, exchange tips, and share your love for this relaxing hobby!
**You will learn:**
- How to hold your needles and yarn
- Make a slip stitch
- Casting on
- Knit stitch
- Purl stitch
- Colour change
- Cast off
By the end of the class you will be able to make a simple, rectangular piece in both garter and stocking stitch.
Please be aware that I do have an excitable chocolate Labrador dog who will want to say hello to you when you arrive (and then crash out on the sofa soon after). If you are allergic to dogs or not a fan, please consider carefully before booking this course.
