“Amazing experience learning the art of Ikebana! The teacher is exceptionally skilled and wonderfully guides you through the practice. I could spend hours in this calm atmosphere which felt like a ceremony including the serving of traditional tea upon arrival. As a bonus I even received professional photos of me during the class and my floral arrangements - I could also take my flowers home to practice more! Truly recommend”

“I have always wanted to experience an Ikebana class and was so pleased to discover one locally. The studio was beautifully decorated. The lesson was very therapeutic and calming. Sometimes, I am afraid to try new things because I am harsh with myself if I am not immediately good at it and I was concerned I would end up feeling bad about myself like I usually do but it was such a warm, calming lesson it was difficult to feel anything else but pure joy!”

“Great class enjoyed the information delivered by the teacher. Would love to do one again but next time would enjoy if we could use bark or twigs in the form. Worth the trip into Liverpool for and a great gift for someone. The tea was an added bonus.”

“My daughter and I attended the class on Saturday morning and we both enjoyed it immensely. The work area was set out beautifully which set the scene for a totally relaxing and enjoyable session. Our hosts were lovely and knowledgeable, we started the session with a short presentation, setting out the theory, we then spent the rest of the session practicing with the beautiful flowers. We are both hooked on Ikebana and hope to take further classes with Joyce.”
