“Amazing that the class still went ahead given there only 2 of us. Thank you! Very civilised. Glass of Prosecco (or two as there were so few of us!) and mince pies helped us relax into our creative wreath-making. All of the greenery - apart from the moss - was foraged from the tutor’s garden, & there were (only) a few extra decorative bits like plastic red berries, dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks that had been bought in. We had both been to several wreath-making classes over the years and we didn’t expect anything different but the one thing I would say is that the variety of decorations or other embellishments (eg dried fruit, seed heads, dried flowers, sparkles etc) that we could add to make our wreaths more personal and artistic was limited. I added stuff that I had saved from previous wreaths when I got home. This made it complete! A lovely evening spent with my friend but could have come away with a more interesting wreath. After my own additions from home though, it worked out well in the end (see photos)!”
