This is a fun activity in Middlewich, Crewe

Whether you're looking to add your own creative touch to your decor, want to surprise someone with a gift experience, want to take up a new hobby, or just have a day to yourself, then give this fascinating fused glass workshop a look.

Hosted by Deborah Moses, a full-time professional glass artist, at her farmhouse studio situated in the picturesque Cheshire countryside, you'll learn all the basics in fused glass techniques as you create your own fused glass wall panel, free standing tiles or bowls. Deborah has over 40 years of inherited glass knowledge, so rest assured you're in good hands. You’re also welcome to have the panel split into two or three projects, work as framed tiles or panels, free-standing panels, or even vessels. We have lots of moulds to choose from. There’s lots of choice for you in this class, so you're not limited to one large panel. The day is set so it's suitable for complete beginners and intermediates too, don’t worry if your “arty” or not

Whether you opt to use a template or work from your own design, you'll learn how to cut glass, paint, shape, colour, and add texture to create a unique work of art. Don't worry if this is your first time, as your experienced tutor will be on hand throughout the day to offer tips, advice, and encouragement.

After the day is over, you'll not only have your gorgeous glass projects to decorate your home or give as a one-of-a-kind gift, but also a plethora of fused glass skills to take away with you. As with all our classes, you will be provided with free refreshments and our fabulous homemade farmhouse lunch.

Class starts at 10am and we finish around 4pm.

I have never tried working with glass before but was able to produce a piece of work relatively easy. I would say if you are thinking of doing this class to go ready prepared with drawings, ideas but time is allotted for planning at beginning of class. We did finish earlier than stated but I liked this as the class was not rushed.

A great day! We really enjoyed working on our glass projects. It was a nice small group of 3 of us in the class so there was lots of opportunities to ask questions and get feedback on our projects. We had plenty of time and didn't feel rushed; we even got to create something a little extra at the end which everyone was really happy with. Thanks so much Deborah, can't wait to see them after they've been fired!
