In this sewing workshop in London, you’ll discover how to make friends with your sewing machine as you embark on a relaxed and creative introduction to sewing. From setting up your machine to stitching a beautiful project you can take home, this session is all about building confidence and enjoying the process!
Don't own a sewing machine? Then you're welcome to use one at the studio.
If you’re a beginner or feel a little nervous about sewing, you’re very welcome here. The class is designed to alleviate any fears around using a sewing machine, with clear, step-by-step guidance from an expert tutor who’ll support you throughout and make sure you feel comfortable at every stage.
**What to expect:**
- Getting to know your sewing machine, including basic setup.
- Learning essential sewing skills and simple stitching techniques.
- Working with beginner-friendly cotton fabric.
- Exploring different stitches and techniques as you sew.
- Creating a finished mini cushion cover to take home!
- Friendly, patient guidance throughout the session.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a handmade piece to treasure, new sewing skills, and the confidence to keep creating on your own -- plus a much happier relationship with your sewing machine.
