Join this terrarium workshop in Brislington, Bristol at our lovely home based plant studio ‘The Greenhouse’ and learn how to create a beautiful miniature landscape in a glass jar. These tiny gardens are perfect for bringing a bit of nature indoors, and once they're planted, they need very little attention to thrive.
You'll be guided step-by-step through the process by Sharon, the owner of Fancy Plants. She’ll show you how to build each layer correctly, ensuring your unique creation doesn't just look gorgeous but stays healthy with minimal care. It’s a low-pressure way to get hands-on with greenery and discover how these self-sustaining ecosystems work.
The session takes place in 'The Greenhouse', a calm and friendly studio in the beautiful garden of Sharon’s Brislington home. It’s a lovely, plant-themed environment that's perfect for a relaxing break from the routine. Whether you're coming along on your own or bringing a few friends for a catch-up, you'll find the space welcoming and supportive. You don’t need any experience with plants.
Everything you need is provided, including:
- A glass jar with a cork lid
- A beautiful selection of suitable plants
- Fresh moss and decorative elements
- All soil and drainage materials
You'll leave the session with a new skill and a stunning, handmade keepsake to brighten up your home or workplace. It’s a rewarding way to switch off and find a moment of mindfulness while creating a little plant world of your own.

Please note you can make the 24cm terrarium with another person. The total price for this is £90. This is for 2 people making ONE terrarium. If you want to make a shared terrarium please buy one ticket for £90. Alternatively you can make this size terrarium EACH. The price is £75 for ONE person making a 24 cm terrarium.
If the dates don’t suit you, you can request a private workshop. Please note there is a minimum number of 4. Booking requests can be for less but there will be a surcharge.
