This is a fun activity in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucester

If you're looking for creative, fun things to do in Cotswolds, make this fused glass workshop your first port of call. Working with a local glass artisan, you'll get to grips with working with glass, culminating in a gorgeous glass soap dish, small bowl, coasters or art pieces to take pride of place in your home.

But what is glass fusing anyway? Put simply, it's arranging pieces of coloured glass to form any pattern you wish, before firing them in a kiln to create a gorgeous work of art. At this three-hour workshop, you'll learn the ins and outs of glass fusion, from designing your own pattern to cutting and finally arranging your mini-masterpieces. It'll then be fired in our kiln. If you're not local we can post it to you once fired and finished.

You'll also have the opportunity to indulge in some freshly baked cakes, teas and coffees, as well as a glass of something sparkling to round off your experience — you've earned it! Whether you're joining in solo at a public class or bringing along a friend or two for a few hours of cake and creativity in the scenic Cotswolds countryside, it's a brilliant way to dip your toe into this fun and artistic craft.

I had a lovely relaxing morning at a fused glass workshop at Larkswold. The workshop is held in a beautiful countryside setting and started with coffee and delicious home made cake. I'm looking forward to seeing my fused glass creation once it has been fired in the kiln. Larkswold offers a wide variety of different craft workshops and I hope to return for another soon.
