This is a fun activity in Bow, London

Looking for creative, fun things to do in East London? This fused glass workshop is a hands-on way to get into this colourful, tactile art form.

Hosted by an experienced local artist in a creative hub adjacent to scenic Victoria Park, this class will see you working with brightly coloured glass to create a vibrant piece of bespoke glass art. Whether you're making a practical trinket dish or set of coasters, or a decorative glass square or lantern, these professional quality pieces will take pride of place in your home decor.

Don't worry if this is your first time and are nervous about working with glass, as your expert host will be there with you every step of the way to ensure your work turns out just as you envisioned it. There'll also be plenty of different patterns to choose from to help fire up your creativity!

Whether you're joining in on your own or bringing a few pals along for a creative catch-up, it's a brilliant way to reap the benefits of working with your hands, create something beautiful and pick up some nifty new skills while you're at it.

Please note: as your finished piece(s) will have to be fired in a kiln, they'll be ready for pick up 2 weeks after the class is completed. We can also post your glass to you (P&P is £8 we use Royal Mail 1st Class)

We loved the glass fusion class! Nadine was very patient and gave lots of helpful instructions on different techniques and designs (we made 4 different ones over the class). The process is very mindful and very different to other crafts, so we're excited to see what the pieces look like when they come out of the kiln! Definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed the class with Nadine. She was a very good teacher, giving us guidance and explanations. The class was small-sized, which facilitated having more space to move around and create our glass pieces. I was able to make 4 items: 1 tealight, 2 bowls and 1 coaster/tile. There was a very nice, creative atmosphere and I would highly recommend this workshop!

Loved this workshop! I brought my daughter and we had a great time. Nadine was warm and welcoming and the whole atmosphere was friendly and supportive. It was exciting also to anticipate how they'd turn out once fired - we were both delighted with our results.
