This is a fun activity in Bristol

Discover the craft of ceramics in this guided travel mug-making workshop in Bristol, designed for both beginners and those with some experience working with clay. In this session, you’ll learn foundational pottery techniques while shaping your own functional and uniquely designed travel mug, with plenty of room to explore form and personal style.

After forming your mug, you’ll decorate it using a selection of coloured underglazes to enhance its surface and create a distinctive finish. Your piece will then be left to dry before being bisque fired, glazed, and fired again, ensuring it is durable, dishwasher safe, and suitable for everyday use.

This workshop offers a relaxed yet focused environment, ideal for individuals or groups looking to engage creatively and produce a practical, handcrafted object. Leave with a deeper appreciation for the ceramic process—and a travel mug made entirely by you.

Can't collect immediately? Don't worry – your creations will be kept at the studio for up to 6 weeks after they’re ready for collection.

This class was fun and fairly easy to do, the teacher gave good instructions and was patient and gave extra help and advice where needed. Haven't got the final product yet but we've looked at doing another class with a different product already

Another incredible class with Jess! She taught us step by step how to make the mug, giving the right balance of helpful guidance and freedom to make our mugs unique. A small class meant it was relaxed and just a wonderfully creative way to spend the evening. I can't wait to see how it turns out after going in the kiln
