This is a fun activity in Camberwell, London
Join this botanical ink exploration class in South London to slow down and sense your way into mark making, patterns and painting from life.
In this relaxed and friendly activity, you will be guided by natural dye and cyanotype artist and textiles printmaker, Zoe Burt. You will learn about a variety of colours that can be extracted from plants, and have a go at making one for yourself.
With Zoe’s expertise you’ll be guided through the process of creating greetings cards, mini artworks or just developing your own sketchbook pages to build ideas and motifs. This is a social class and a great intro to the beauty of seasonal natural colour.
This workshop takes place in the Remakery's new lab space – a perfect setting for this creative process. After attending a session, you can even book the equipment yourself to continue making your own beautiful natural inks.
What you make in the session is up to you, you can bring your own sketchbook for studies, or develop bigger works.
