Step into the timeless craft of stone carving and enjoy a hands-on creative experience working with natural limestone in London. This small, supportive workshop invites you to connect with traditional making techniques, and shape your own unique three-dimensional sculpture from raw stone.
No previous carving experience is required. With a maximum of four participants, you’ll receive plenty of individual guidance and support as you learn how to handle tools safely and confidently while developing your ideas and skills at your own pace.

- Work with your own boulder of limestone.
- Learn how to use traditional stone carving tools.
- Guidance on blocking out, shaping, and refining your sculpture.
- Small group teaching with plenty of one-to-one support.
- Encouragement to explore and create your own three-dimensional design.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created a unique stone sculpture and gained a deeper understanding of carving techniques. If you’re able to transport it, you’re welcome to take your finished piece home with you -- just be prepared, stone can be heavy!
