Join this bundle dyeing workshop in London, a fun and beginner-friendly environment where children and families will each create a cotton bandana using flowers, leaves, seeds, and other botanicals. You'll learn the art of bundle dyeing in an atmosphere designed to be gentle, safe and enjoyable for all levels of experience.
During the workshop, you'll be guided on how to select natural materials and explore different techniques to create unique and unexpected patterns. In this class, you'll:
- Select your botanicals – Choose from a variety of flowers, leaves, and seeds to create your palette.
- Master bundle dyeing – Learn the specific techniques required to transfer natural pigments onto fabric.
- Create your patterns – Explore how to fold and tie your bandana for different visual effects.
