Create a beautiful piece of textile art in this felting class for beginners using your own reference photo for inspiration.
Guided by your experienced teacher, you'll be shown how to lay out fibres to make a flat piece of felt as well as using a technique called carding to blend colours. Once you've laid out the fibres to form the structure of your piece, you'll be shown how to manipulate the fibres to create an image from your reference materials.
Lastly, you'll learn the wet felting techniques to transform all the loose fibres into a piece of cloth. You'll finish off your piece of textile art so that it's ready to frame, hang directly on your wall or gift to a loved one.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have mastered the basics of 2D wet felting and you'll have made your own unique work of art!
