Learn the basics in this fun and relaxed jewellery making class in Birmingham, where you’ll create your own unique piece of silver jewellery. With a choice of different jewellery styles to make, you can personalise your piece while being guided step by step throughout the process!
Never tried jewellery making before? No worries! Designed for total beginners and improvers, this hands-on workshop is a great way to explore new skills in a welcoming studio environment.
**What you could make:**
- Stacking rings -- A set of three slim rings with different complementary textures.
- Single larger ring -- A thicker ring with the option of adding texture and stamping letters.
- Bangle -- A full circle or oval bangle, with the option of texturing.
- Cuff -- A solid open bracelet to be put on over the wrist rather than the hand, with the option of texturing and stamping letters.
- Stone set ring or pendant -- A textured silver bezel set ring or pendant.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your own handcrafted jewellery piece or a design in progress, and the skills and confidence to continue your jewellery-making journey.
Important information
- Safety: Although our workshops are very safe there are still some elements of jewellery making that can be dangerous, you must follow all safety instructions we give during the class.
- The workshop takes place upstairs so if you have any trouble with stairs, please arrive a little earlier and let us know, we’ll be happy to help.
- Dietary Requirements: Biscuits plus soft and hot drinks will be provided, please ensure you have informed us of any dietary requirements a week in advance so we can arrange for alternative milk etc.
