Love love love this pottery class! Chiara is an excellent teacher and lovely human - very patient, warm, and friendly! She walks you through and teaches all parts of the throwing process, from deep dives into the clay itself and different types and firing process, to a variety of techniques to throw clay, create cylinders/pots and bowls, and trimming, painting, and glazing. She teaches you how to get a true feel for pottery and is a very adaptable, flexible teacher, working with you to help you really learn the right techniques and understand underlying root causes that help you get better! She also makes sure you see outcomes and finished pieces as you go, so you get a real sense of progress and achievement as you go as well!
