PLEASE NOTE:
Other workshops may run at the same time.

Join this soap making class in Stratford and discover the art of crafting your own beautiful crystal grape soap cluster.

Inspired by real fruit textures, this unique technique combines hand-cut soap shaping with simple assembly to create a realistic grape bunch. It's a relaxing and creative workshop that's perfect if you're looking for a fun, aesthetic experience to share with friends or a partner. You'll have the chance to create something truly special that works just as well as a decorative home piece as it does a thoughtful handmade gift.

In this hands-on session, you'll learn how to:

- Cut and shape translucent soap – Master the techniques to create soft, gemstone-like "grapes".
- Assemble your cluster – Bundle your soap pieces into a charming finished bunch using natural rope and ribbons.
- Customise your design – Explore a wide range of colours and styles to ensure your piece is completely one-of-a-kind.

There's no need to worry if you've never tried this before; the class is designed for beginners and everything will be set up for you. You'll find the process is a great way to switch off from the daily grind and focus on a tactile, rewarding task.

By the end of the workshop, you'll feel a sense of accomplishment as you admire your finished creation. You'll leave with a beautiful handmade keepsake and the skills to continue making your own custom soaps at home.

Please note: The studio is only a 6 min walk from Stratford Station.

I’m disappointed in the workshop because we weren’t given an instructor-led class. We arrived and were told to watch a 1.5 min video on how to make the soap grapes. They gave us the materials and largely left us to it with just a 15 minute warning towards the end. There was a couple of times they came over to check on us, and while the lady was perfectly nice, mentioned we were doing it far better than she does the cutting and rope attaching a couple of times. She was likely just trying to be complimentary but when combined with only video instructions, for a 1h 15 min class and cheap rope, it didn’t feel worth £49. Definitely taught myself a skill though which is easily replicated at home.
