I booked this as a gift experience and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our weekend. Learning a completely new skill was fun, and the finished flower looks amazing displayed at home.

The whole experience was much more hands-on than I expected. The tutor guided us step by step, but we still had plenty of freedom to make our flowers unique. A very satisfying workshop.

Had such a great time at this workshop. I’d never worked with glass before, but the tutor made everything feel safe and approachable. Watching the glass soften in the flame and gradually turn into a flower was fascinating. I was genuinely surprised by what I managed to create.

Holly our teacher was wonderful, so patient and calm. We loved the process of making our cherry blossoms and so pleased we could take them straight home. Can’t wait to go back again and again and make all the things!

Holly was a great teacher, helpful and patient. We enjoyed a lot these 2 hours. The only thing that could be better is a protective package for our fragile work. Paper Kraft bag and loose straw are definitely not enough Glass dome should be better or at least at sell.

UPDATE: Following our complaint regarding the quality of the class, FirePetal Studio have handled the situation with professionalism, promptly investigated the situation, and offered us a full refund. While the class had been disappointing, we appreciate the open communication from FirePetal Studio on this and their cooperation in reaching a suitable resolution. ———— Poor attitude from the teacher was not appropriate for the £98 we paid. The teacher was quite young, acted like they really didn’t want to be there teaching this class, didn’t explain the techniques while demonstrating, and forgot to tell us to wear gloves until we proactively asked them, which is a safety concern The teacher was extremely preoccupied with the time limit, and was inflexible with requests. We arrived 10 minutes early to the studio but had to call the teacher to say we’d arrived. Starting setup was slow and ate into our 2 hour time slot, which was not extended. However, glassworking itself seems really interesting and the studio had great facilities. Would love to try this again with an engaged teacher who reflects the price point.
