This is a fun activity in Edinburgh
Join this jewellery making class in Edinburgh's West End and discover how to design your own delicate Tagua necklace in a mindful two-hour beading workshop.
In this special session, you'll work with sustainably sourced Tagua – often called "vegetable ivory" – using dainty, beautifully hand-cut and drilled geometric shapes. You'll find squares and other clean, modern forms ready for you to use in your unique piece. This is a relaxed, hands-on experience where you'll be guided step by step to design and assemble your jewellery. While many designs focus on bold statement pieces, this class is specially created for those who love more delicate, dainty styles.
Depending on your pace and design choices, you'll create:
- A finished necklace – Design and assemble a one-of-a-kind piece.
- Matching accessories – If time allows, you can also make a matching bracelet or earrings.
Held in a cosy small-group setting, this workshop is an opportunity to switch off, connect with your creativity, and enjoy a feel-good moment of making in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Refreshments are included to keep your energy up while you create.
More than just a new skill, this is a chance to slow down and create intentionally. You'll leave feeling refreshed and inspired, taking home a beautifully handmade keepsake that's uniquely yours.
Please note: the studio is located in a basement space and requires walking down a flight of stairs. Participants should be comfortable using stairs.
