Join this pottery class in Torquay and discover the therapeutic joy of creating with clay.
You'll start your session with a friendly rundown of the basics before watching a live demo that reveals the magic of throwing on the potter's wheel. Then, it's your turn to get hands-on. You'll jump in and explore the rewarding experience of shaping your own pot – or perhaps even two! Once you've finished, you can pick your favourite masterpiece for us to fire in the kiln. We're always on hand to offer as much or as little assistance as you need, making this a low-pressure environment perfect for anyone who has always fancied giving the wheel a spin.
Everything is set up for you to have fun, including aprons to protect your clothes, though it's still a good idea to wear something you don't mind getting a little messy. You should allow up to 1.5 hours for this experience, ensuring you have plenty of time to find your flow.
By the end of the session, you'll have gained a newfound confidence in your creative abilities and a unique keepsake to cherish. Your finished pottery will be ready to collect in approximately 6 – 8 weeks, or we can arrange to post it to you for an additional charge.
