It was the perfect course for a beginner to learn and practice the basics, pick up lots of tips and gain significant confidence by producing a good quality (all of us) cushion at the end of it. Emma was a excellent teacher and there was a great, relaxed, 'sewing bee' working together atmosphere in the room. Highly recommended and I'm looking forward to doing the intermediate course after some practice at home.

Enjoyed the class! Emma was reassuring and clear. I feel confident using the machine having never touched one before and very satisfied with my (slightly wonky) cushion fitting in nicely on my window seat :)

Cerri was great! Took time to help us all individually and to explain why we were doing each step. I know now not only how to fix an issue but feel confident in why things are going wrong. The sewing through paper task was really useful in understanding how to use the machine. Thanks for all your help!

This class was amazing. I had never used a sewing machine before and by my second session made a cushion. Kerry was a great teacher, everything was explained really well in a super friendly environment. Recommend 10/10

I had a fantastic time at the Beginners evening class! The teacher was fantastic and the class itself was such good value for money and lots of fun. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is currently cowering in fear at the sight of their sewing machine.
