This is a fun activity in Bristol
Join The Crafty Social Club at The Tobacco Factory in Bristol for this creative, mindful vintage collage workshop and rediscover the simple pleasures of cutting and sticking.
Your host will bring heaps of reclaimed vintage books, magazines, postcards, and cards from the 1950s onwards, along with a variety of different papers for you to make some truly unique works. You'll take a trip down nostalgia lane as you create wonderful, playful, and sometimes very surreal images.
Each piece is an artwork in itself, and there's no previous experience needed. This is a welcoming space to switch off, escape the daily grind, and go with the creative flow. You're free to make as many collages as you like in this friendly, relaxed session.
- Make collages using vintage books, magazines, postcards, and an assortment of cards
- Get encouraged to go wherever your inspiration takes you
- Use the plentiful resources provided to make as many collages as you please
- While away a few hours enjoying the simple pleasures of cutting and sticking to get your creative spark fizzing
This session is a 'pay what you can' workshop with a suggested fee of £15 per person. You're also more than welcome to enjoy a drink and a snack from the Tobacco Factory bar as you create. You'll leave the session feeling refreshed and inspired, with a collection of one – of – kind handmade artworks to take home.
Please note: To secure your place, it's best to book in advance, although some spaces are held back for drop – ins on the day.
