This is a fun activity in Southwark. , London

If you've always wanted to try lino printing but never got round to it, this beginner-friendly class is the perfect first step to take!

Hosted in a colourful central London studio, this workshop will show you how to create multiple prints in a variety of colours using a single block of A6 lino. Your expert teacher, a talented local designer, will introduce you to all of the tools and equipment before getting you up to speed with the techniques needed to print stunning posters by hand.

You'll create a custom design, transfer it onto a block of lino and carve out the impression before applying your ink, ready to experiment with different application methods to print your artwork on paper. The best bit? You can bring along your favourite drinks to enjoy throughout the experience!

At the end of the class, you'll have three printed A4 artworks to take home, ready to frame and hang on your wall or give as handmade gifts!

Highly recommend! Lovely space, helpful facilitators, plenty of time to make some colourful lino prints. I’m not arty at all but I really enjoyed it!

What a wonderful experience- highly recommended! The studio is bright, not huge, but perfectly sized with everything needed for this and other classes that MYO offer. The class was brilliantly led with warmth in instructions and support/ demos. All materials are provided, including lovely cups of tea to sip whilst busily working. I had a great time totally absorbed in the creativity and I produced a Lino print that I was so proud of, I will frame it and put it up at home.

A really good intro to Lino cutting techniques, I have some experience already but the class teacher was happy to answer some of my more advanced questions, including how to develop my hobby to a more professional standard
